4What is the purpose of the Jethro 12 (J12)
Equipping Steps?
- To equip the saints for the work of the
ministry. - To train up the body of Christ rapidly and
effectively as co-laborers and leaders in the
Cell Church environment. - Provide a perpetual motion for training up of
co-laborers and potential Cell Leaders.
5The J12 Equipping Steps consists of 4 Steps
- Each STEP consists of a process booklet and a
weekend encounter. - The process booklet must first be read and
understood before entrance is allowed to the
weekend encounter. Understanding the material is
quantified by the reader completing the questions
at the end of each chapter. - Completing the process booklet is the entrance
ticket to the weekend encounter. The Cell leader
signs a certificate of completion at the back of
each process booklet. This is shown to the
District Pastor when the person registers at the
weekend encounter. - At the end of the weekend encounter, the person
is then given the next process booklet to read
before the next encounter.
6Who can do the J12 Equipping Steps?
- Anyone and everyone is encouraged to join the
process..
When does a person receive his/her first process
booklet?
- When a person joins the Church they are invited
to the Welcome Encounter. Each one is given
the first process booklet, Welcome To Your New
Family, during the Welcome Encounter the J12
Equipping Steps is explained. - Existing cell members are identified as
potential leaders and then challenged to complete
the J12 Equipping Steps. The booklet is made
available in the Home Cell via the Home Cell
leader.
