Our History
Founding National Conference
  • SCM was founded in 1921 out of the YMCA and the
    global ecumenical (Christian unity) movement. A
    motto was Putting Justice Into Faith.

    Japanese-Canadians during WWII, one of the only
    organizations to oppose this policy.
