  • Meet Height/Weight and Body Fat standards
  • Pass APFT - (180 Points, 60 Points/Event)
  • Land navigation (70 cumulative score)
  • SAT or above in all leadership dimensions

  • Completed following MSL II or MSL III year

Cadet Troop Leader Training (CTLT)
  • Increase leadership experience
  • Assignment to platoon leader or like positions
    with Active Army units or with government
    agencies
  • 3 weeks CONUS 4 weeks OCONUS
  • Normally follows NALC completion

  • CTLT serving as a platoon leader
  • Advanced Individual Academic Development (AIAD) -
    with Corps of Engineers or other government
    agencies
  • Cadet Intern Program (CIP) - with DA, the
    Secretariat, OCAR, NGB, OSD and other Army or
    government agencies
  • Nurse Summer Training Program (NSTP) clinical
    experience
