The Great Meeting in the air

From Adam, mankind has been marching step by step
a grand stairway leading direct to that meeting
in the air.
Call of Abraham was one step forward Jacob 12
sons another. Finally the Lord Jesus Christ in
the mountain with his saints.

• We are commanded to watch for his Second Coming

2, Pet 33.4 Knowing this first, that there
shall come in the last days scoffers, walking
after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the
promise of his coming? For since the fathers
fell asleep, all things continue as they were
from the beginning of the creation.
Mat 2442 -44 Watch therefore for ye know not
what hour your Lord doth come. But know this,
that if the goodman of the house had known in
what watch the thief would come, he would have
watched, and would not have suffered his house
to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready for
in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man
cometh.
Everytime we lift the communion cup to our lips
we do show the Lords death till he comes.

There is no prophecy needing to be fulfilled
before Christ comes. Mat 2414 - And this gospel
of the kingdom shall be preached in all the
world for a witness unto all nations and then
shall the end come.
There is not a nation on the face of the earth
that has not heard the gospel preached within
its bounds.
Second Coming of Christ is referred to more than
350 times in the New Testament. In Pauls
epistle, baptism is mentioned 13 times whereas
the return of the Lord 50 times. You may not
give due importance to the Second Coming but
disciples called it blessed hope Just as Anna
Simeon watched and waited for his first coming
so we should be watching for his Second Coming.
We are not all right unless we obey the command
to watch

• No millennium of peace and righteousness until
• Jesus comes.

Many have missed trains because they believed
they would come at a time that did not
correspond with official time.
Luke 1727-30 - They did eat, they drank, they
married wives, they were given in marriage,
until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot they
did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold,
they planted, they builded But the same day
that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and
brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of
man is revealed.

• Human tradition spiritualizes and explains away
• the Scriptures.

• The curses of Jews were brought to pass literally
  so
• also will be the blessings

• Scattering was literal so also will be the
  gathering.

• The rejection of Israel literal so also its
  restoration. If
• the humility and shame of Christ at his first
  coming was
• literal, should he not come back with power and
  glory
• which should also be literal Two miles from
  Jerusalem
• on the Mount of olives. He is going to
  re-appear

• Christ waits the completion of His mystical body
• before He comes.

Jesus is going to come and reveal Himself to the
members of His body at the very moment when the
last soul is necessary to complete that body.
For the body of Christ consists certain number
of souls or it never could be completed
II Pet 312 Looking for and hasting unto the
coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens
being on fire shall be dissolved, and the
elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Everytime we do personal work or try to get
anybody saved, we may be doing something that
will bring and hasten the coming of the Lord.
The Bible very clearly makes known the great
path that Gods purpose for this dispensation is
completing the body of Christ. He is not trying
to save the world now. That is the work of next
dispensation.
Act 1514-17 Simeon hath declared how God at the
first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of
them a people for his name And to this agree the
words of the prophets as it is written, After
this I will return, and will build again the
tabernacle of David, which is fallen down and I
will build again the ruins thereof, and I will
set it up That the residue of men might seek
after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom
my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all
these things.

Why limelight this dispensation the Lord has been
working among gentiles (those not belonging to
Jewish nation). There remains no prophecy to be
fulfilled. There is not a nation where the
Gospel has not been preached. The Lord Jesus
Christ waiting for his

• Rapture for saints.

Tribulation for those who left behind. Business
and governments will go on as now. After the
Lord Jesus Christ comes and takes the believers
out of the world, then takes place great
tribulation. At the close of tribulation the
Lord will return along with his raptured church.
Then he will reveal himself to the Jews. They
will accept him as their long rejected messiah.
Then the millennium will begin. Devil cast into
the bottomless pit for 1000 years. Nations will
be born in a day through the missionaries
efforts and the Jews

• What does it mean to have part in that meeting in
  
• the air

• Most glorious thing about it is that if we are
  there we shall
• be member of body of Christ. We are the members
  of His
• body - Bride - Son of God Royal family.

• If we have place in that meeting in the air it
  will mean that
• we are like Christ for when He shall appear we
  shall be like
• Him. For we shall see Him as He is

• For some, that meeting will mean that they
  reached it
• without having to pass through death, for it is
  to be
• composed of those who have gone on before and
  those
• that are still living at that time.

Christians have no business looking for death.
It is his right to hope to live forever and
instead of expecting to go to the grave, he
should be looking for the coming of the Lord and
the meeting in the air.

• It will also mean that we shall then have bodies
  that will
• remain young forever. No pains, no aches, grey
  hair,
• wrinkles and feebleness.

I Corinthians 1551, 52 Behold, I show you a
mystery we shall not all sleep, but we shall
all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of
an eye, at the last trump for the trumpet shall
sound, and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

In that moment, some will give-up old age to be
young forever. Others will go from beds of pain
upon which they may have laid for sometime.
Others from poverty to eternal wealth. You
cant tell by appearances Orissa - - Turkey
10 minutes before they were OK. (earthquake,
cyclones)
If we have part in the meeting it will mean that
we shall be here in this world with the Lord
during Millennium. 100 year. With Devil chained
and cast out not a saloon gambling and
everything just as we want it.

Rev 203 to 6 Remember therefore how thou hast
received and heard, and hold fast, and repent.
If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come
on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what
hour I will come upon thee. Thou hast a few
names even in Sardis which have not defiled
their garments and they shall walk with me in
white for they are worthy. He that overcometh,
the same shall be clothed in white raiment and
I will not blot out his name out of the book of
life, but I will confess his name before my
Father, and before his angels. He that hath an
ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the
churches.

• There will be peace

Millennium 1000 Annum year
This is purely scriptural. There will be 1000
years of righteousness on the earth. Prophets
have looked down through the annals of future
time to a golden day the millennium, a thousand
years of justice. There will be a golden day.
Wolf and the lamb lying down together will take
place when Jesus comes. Isa 116 The wolf also
shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall
lie down with the kid and the calf and the
young lion and the fatling together and a little
child shall lead them.

• The curse will be taken away

Isa 3 The wilderness and the solitary place shall
be glad for them and the desert shall rejoice,
and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom
abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and
singing the glory of Lebanon shall be given
unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon,
they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the
Excellency of our God. Strengthen ye the weak
hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them
that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear
not behold, your God will come with vengeance,
even God with a recompense he will come and
save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall be
opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be
unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as a
hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing for in
the wilderness shall waters break out, and
streams in the desert. And the parched ground
shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs

of water in the habitation of dragons, where
each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it
shall be called The way of holiness the unclean
shall not pass over it but it shall be for
those the wayfaring men, though fools, shall
not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any
ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not
be found there but the redeemed shall walk
there And the ransomed of the LORD shall return,
and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy
upon their heads they shall obtain joy and
gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

• Rev.206 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in
  
• the first resurrection on such the second death
• hath no power, but they shall be priests of God
  and
• of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand
  years.

He disappeared from the Mount of Olives. He will
come back there.
Zech 14.4 And his feet shall stand in that day
upon the Mount of Olives, which is before
Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives
shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the
east and toward the west, and there shall be a
very great valley and half of the mountain shall
remove toward the north, and half of it toward
the south.

4. Tribulation precedes Peace
Matt 2421, 22 For then shall be great
tribulation, such as was not since the beginning
of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall
be. And except those days should be shortened,
there should no flesh be saved but for the
elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

It is terrible to be ignorant of some great
things

• To know Botany and to be ignorant of Jesus, the
  Lily of the
• valley
• To know astronomy and to be ignorant of Jesus,
  the bright
• and morning star
• To know Biology and not know the life of Jesus
• To know the ages of the rocks and be ignorant of
  Rock of
• Ages
• To know mathematics and be ignorant of how to add
  faith
• to virtue.
• To have ones name written on cheque and not on
  the
• Lambs book of Life.

To be ignorant of Second Coming is tragic and
will be caught up. Phillip was caught away in
the book of Acts 839 And when they were come up
out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught
away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more
and he went on his way rejoicing.
The Reign of Christ on earth-

• There shall be long life. Isa 65.20 There shall
  be no more
• thence an infant of days, nor an old man that
  hath not filled his
• days for the child shall die a hundred years
  old but the sinner
• being a hundred years old shall be accursed.

• Everyone will know Christ at that time. Heb 811
  And they shall
• not teach every man his neighbor, and every man
  his brother,
• saying, Know the Lord for all shall know me,
  from the least to the
• greatest.

Heb 214 Forasmuch then as the children are
partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself
likewise took part of the same that through
death he might destroy him that had the power of
death, that is, the devil

• The saints, even we shall reign I Cor 62 Do ye
  not know that the
• saints shall judge the world? and if the world
  shall be judged by
• you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest
  matters?

By your desire for the appearing of your Lord,
you can judge the state of your spiritual life.
The migrant comes to these shores. He works to
earn money to pay the passage of the beloved.
When that ship comes in he is on the dock. When
the gang plank is lowered, he is at the barrier
waiting for her to come through the customs.
That is the attitude the Christian should have
towards the coming of the Lord.
His steps unexpected, gathers quickly what he
came for, then leaves.

While talking to five preachers, a great
preacher looked at one and asked Do you think
Jesus will come today. His friend answered. I
think not. To another he said Do you think
Jesus will come today? He too replied I think
not. So to the third he asked. Do you think
Jesus will come today? He said I think not. So
the forth he continued. Do you think Christ will
come today The friend replied I think not.
Finally he asked the fifth one, What about you?
He also said I think not.
Mat 2444 Therefore be ye also ready for in such
an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Did you ever notice birds migrating South? As
they pass over there seemingly are thousands of
them. They are often referred to as great cloud
of birds. When the Lord Jesus Christ comes, a
great cloud of believers will raise from Kuwait,
Bahrain, India etc. I am told that moment comes
from the same word from which we get the word
atom. It is time that you cannot divide further.
Psa 13211 The LORD hath sworn in truth unto
David he will not turn from it Of the fruit of
thy body will I set upon thy throne.

When the Lord Jesus Christ comes again with his
saints at the close of the tribulation period,
he will sit down on an eternal physical throne
in Jerusalem. He will sit upon Davids throne.
To Abraham, God promised for all the Land which
thou sees to thee will I give it, and to the
seed forever.
The boundaries of the land are given in Gen
1518-21 In the same day the LORD made a
covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have
I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto
the great river, the river Euphrates The
Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,
And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the
Rephaims, And the Amorites, and the Canaanites,
and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.

Ezekiel 4719, 481 And the south side southward,
from Tamar even to the waters of strife in
Kadesh, the river to the great sea. And this is
the south side southward. Now these are the
names of the tribes. From the north end to the
coast of the way of Hethlon, as one goeth to
Hamath, Hazar-enan, the border of Damascus
northward, to the coast of Hamath for these are
his sides east and west a portion for Dan.

• On the west river of Egypt to the East river
  Euphrates.
• North to Hamath and Kadesh on South
• Jews will have all the land.
• All the Jews will be back in the land
• They will all be converted
• Abraham will himself will be in the land
• Christ will be in land with Abraham

Several Things that happen during Millennium

• The curse that has been on the earth because sin
  will be removed.

Rom 822, 23 For we know that the whole creation
groaneth and travaileth in pain together until
now. And not only they, but ourselves also,
which have the first fruits of the Spirit, even
we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for
the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Isa 351.2 The wilderness and the solitary place
shall be glad for them and the desert shall
rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall
blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and
singing the glory of Lebanon shall be given
unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon,
they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the
Excellency of our God.

• Curse will be lifted from animal nature.

Isa116-9 The wolf also shall dwell with the
lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the
kid and the calf and the young lion and the
fatling together and a little child shall lead
them. And the cow and the bear shall feed their
young ones shall lie down together and the lion
shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking
child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the
weaned child shall put his hand on the
cockatrice's den. They shall not hurt nor destroy
in all my holy mountain for the earth shall be
full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters
cover the sea.

• Curse will be lifted from human bodies

Isa 355, 6 Then the eyes of the blind shall be
opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be
unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as a
hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing for in the
wilderness shall waters break out, and streams
in the desert.
Isa 6520 There shall be no more thence an infant
of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his
days for the child shall die a hundred years
old but the sinner being a hundred years old
shall be accursed.

• No more poverty

Mica 44 But they shall sit every man under his
vine and under his fig tree and none shall make
them afraid for the mouth of the LORD of hosts
hath spoken it.
Isa 6521, 22 And they shall build houses, and
inhabit them and they shall plant vineyards,
and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build,
and another inhabits they shall not plant, and
another eats for as the days of a tree are the
days of my people, and mine elect shall long
enjoy the work of their hands.

• Satan will be bound and chained during reign of
  Christ.

Rev 201-3 And I saw an angel come down from
heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and
a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on
the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil,
and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And
cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him
up, and set a seal upon him, that he should
deceive the nations no more, till the thousand
years should be fulfilled and after that he
must be loosed a little season .

• Jerusalem will be the centre of worship and
  knowledge for the
• whole earth.

Mica 41, 2 But in the last days it shall come to
pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD
shall be established in the top of the
mountains, and it shall be exalted above the
hills and people shall flow unto it. And many
nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go
up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house
of the God of Jacob and he will teach us of his
ways, and we will walk in his paths for the law
shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD
from Jerusalem

• There will be no more wars.

Mica 43 And he shall judge among many people,
and rebuke strong nations afar off and they
shall beat their swords into plowshares, and
their spears into pruning hooks nation shall not
lift up a sword against nation, neither shall
they learn war any more

• All Israel will know the Lord .

Rom 1126 And so all Israel shall be saved as it
is written, There shall come out of Zion the
Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from
Jacob

• When the trumpet sounds, the saved will be caught
  up to
• meet the Lord in the air and the unsaved will be
  left.

• The unsaved who are left could be divided into
  two groups
• (a) those who have heard the gospel and have not
  had an
• opportunity to be saved and
• (b) those who have never head the gospel and
  have not
• had the opportunity to be saved.

• Those who have the heard the gospel and could
  have
• trusted Christ as Saviour but rejected him will
  have their
• destiny sealed.

• A person who heard the gospel and had an
  opportunity to
• be saved before the rapture of the church will
  not have an
• opportunity to be saved after the rapture.

• But those who had never heard the gospel will
  have such
• an opportunity to be saved. 2Thesalonians 7.8
  And to you
• who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord
  Jesus shall be
• revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In
  flaming fire
• taking vengeance on them that know not God, and
  that obey
• not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ

During the tribulation period, the Bible teaches
us that 144,000 born again blood washed
Missionaries will preach the gospel all over the
word and then many will be saved. Rev 714 And
I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said
to me, These are they which came out of great
tribulation, and have washed their robes, and
made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
If you have heard the gospel and had an
opportunity to trust Christ you will not have an
opportunity to be saved after the rapture of the
church. If you have never trusted Christ as
your personal Saviour please trust him today.

If you have already trusted Christ - I John 228
And now, little children, abide in him that,
when he shall appear, we may have confidence,
and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
Because, we would not know even a few hours in
advance of his coming - Matt 2442 Watch
therefore for ye know not what hour your Lord
doth come.

• Rapture - Power of gravity will be broken and we
  will be caught.
• Great Tribulation
• Reign of Antichrist
• Setting up of Davids throne upon which the Lord
  Jesus Christ
• will reign.
• His millennial kingdom
• The last rebellion
• The great white throne judgment
• Making of new heaven and earth

I have received the Lord which also I delivered
unto you that the Lord Jesus same night in which
he was betrayed took bread.
In the Matthew, Mark Luke, Jesus said This do
in remembrance of me. But Paul tells us that
the Lord Jesus Christ revealed to him that he
had in mind remembrance of Christ in view of his
Second Coming. They were to show the Lords
death till he comes. New Testament Christians
were constantly taught to expect Christs return
in their life time.

• From the Day of their salvation, Thessalonians
  waited for
• Christs return I Thesalonian19, 10 For they
  themselves
• show of us what manner of entering in we had
  unto you,
• and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the
  living and
• true God And to wait for his Son from heaven,
  whom he
• raised from the dead, even Jesus, which
  delivered us from
• the wrath to come.

• Everyday Paul was praying for Christs return.
  Christians at
• Rome were taught that Christ would soon return
  and bruise
• Satan under their feet. Rom 823 And not only
  they, but
• ourselves also, which have the first fruits of
  the Spirit, even we
• ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for
  the adoption, to wit,
• the redemption of our body.

• Philippians Christians also waited for Christs
  coming Phil 320.21
• For our conversation is in heaven from whence
  also we look for
• the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ Who shall
  change our vile body,
• that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious
  body, according to
• the working whereby he is able even to subdue
  all things unto
• himself.

• To the 7 churches of Asia Minor, Jesus
  repeatedly said I come
• quickly Rev227,12,20 Behold, I come quickly
  blessed is he that
• keepeth the saying of the prophecy of this book
  And, behold, I
• come quickly and my reward is with me, to give
  every man
• according as his work shall be. He which
  testifieth these things
• saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so,
  come, Lord Jesus.

• Apostle Paul personally expected Christ to come
  in his lifetime
• I Thes 415-17 For this we say unto you by the
  word of the Lord,
• that we which are alive and remain unto the
  coming of the Lord
• shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the
  Lord himself shall
• descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice
  of the archangel,
• and with the trump of God and the dead in
  Christ shall rise first
• Then we which are alive and remain shall be
  caught up together
• with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the
  air and so shall we
• ever be with the Lord.

Was Paul foolish in his expectancy? No he was
obeying the Lord Jesus Christ and looking daily
for him- 1Cor 1551, 52 Behold, I show you a
mystery We shall not all sleep, but we shall all
be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an

sound, and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
2 Timothy46-8 For I am now ready to be offered,
and the time of my departure is at hand. I have
fought a good fight, I have finished my course,
I have kept the faith Henceforth there is laid
up for me a crown of righteousness, which the
Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that
day and not to me only, but unto all them also
that love his appearing.

• So called signs of Christ return have always .
  Millerites
• who started 7th day Adventist movement taught
  that Christ would
• come in October 1843 on the basis of Daniel 814
  And he said
• unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred
  days then shall
• the sanctuary be cleansed.

1 day 1 year the Lord Jesus Christ did not
come. They checked and found a mistake in
calculations and again said he would come on Oct
27 1844
Russell, founder of Millenial Dawn, the watch
tower society Jehovah Witness said Jesus would
come in 1914 and nothing happened. Another
brilliant youngman calculated September 16,
1936.

• Sign of the coming Matthew 243 - And as he sat
  upon the mount
• of Olives, the disciples came unto him
  privately, saying, Tell us,
• when shall these things be? and what shall be
  the sign of thy
• coming, and of the end of the world?

Mat 24 29, 30 - Immediately after the
tribulation of those days shall the sun be
darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the
powers of the heavens shall be shaken And then
shall appear the sign of the Son of man in
heaven and then shall all the tribes of the
earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man
coming in the clouds of heaven with power and
great glory.
