• To improve the quality of life for our family and
  community through care and service

History

• St. Clare Home began in 1909 when the Daughters
  of the Holy Spirit settled in Newport. We began
  as a visiting nurse program and have evolved into
  the skilled nursing facility that we are today.
  As an agency of the Roman Catholic Diocese of
  Providence, we care for 47 men and women, taking
  into account not only their medical needs, but
  their social and spiritual needs as well.

Gaines, Rita Hines, and Margaret Smith We
especially want to thank all those who have

Graciela Emerick, Rev.George M. Chaplin, Father
Richard A. Walsh, Our Chaplin Muriel Buck,
Accompanist Jill Ward, Janet Abraham, John Davis
and Sr. Rose Henry who led us in our songs for
today. We invite everyone to join us as we
gather after the service for refreshments here in
the Activity Room.
