• Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God
  spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in
  these last days he has spoken to us by his Son,
  whom he appointed the heir of all things, through
  whom also he created the world. (Heb 11-2)

  profitable for teaching, for reproof, for
  correction, and for training in righteousness,
  that the man of God may be competent, equipped

• In the beginning, God created the heavens and

• The earth was without form and void, and
  darkness was over the face of the deep. And the
  Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the
  waters. (Ge 12)
• Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where
  shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to
  heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol,
  you are there! (Ps 1397-8)
• The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of

• For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of
  man, but men spoke from God as they were carried
  along by the Holy Spirit. (2Pe 121)

  be born will be called holy - the Son of God.

• Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary
  as your wife, for that which is conceived in her
  is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and
  you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save
  his people from their sins. (Mt 120-21)
• But when the fullness of time had come, God sent
  forth his Son, born of woman, born under the

You and me

• For from within, out of the heart of man, come
  evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder,

  sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness.
  All these evil things come from within, and they

• But each person is tempted when he is lured and
  enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it
  has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it

• Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the
  devil, for the devil has been sinning from the
  beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was
  to destroy the works of the devil. (1Jo 38)

  Sheol who will give you praise? (Ps 65)

  knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are

• For we must all appear before the judgment seat
  of Christ, so that each one may receive what is
  due for what he has done in the body, whether
  good or evil. (2Co 510)
• when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with
  his mighty angels in flaming fire, inflicting

• They will fall by the edge of the sword and be

• So when they had come together, they asked him,
  Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom
  to Israel? He said to them, It is not for you
  to know times or seasons that the Father has
  fixed by his own authority. (Ac 167)
• And in the days of those kings the God of heaven
  will set up a kingdom that shall never be
  destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to
  another people. It shall break in pieces all
  these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it
  shall stand forever, (Da 244)

• Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom
  to God the Father after destroying every rule and
  every authority and power. For he must reign
  until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
  The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For God
  has put all things in subjection under his feet.

  Son himself will also be subjected to him who put
  all things in subjection under him, that God may

• But you were washed, you were sanctified, you

  You shall love your neighbour as yourself. On
  these two commandments depend all the Law and the

  to everyone, and especially to those who are of

• do not be anxious about anything, but in
  everything by prayer and supplication with
  thanksgiving let your requests be made known to
  God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all
  understanding, will guard your hearts and your
  minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers,

  whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is
  lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any
  excellence, if there is anything worthy of
