Who celebrates Diwali?

• Diwali is a Hindu celebration so its mostly them
  who celebrate it.
• Anyone can celebrate Diwali if they want to.

What do you do at Diwali Time?

• People normally light candles, do fireworks,
  exchange cards gifts and have big feasts with
  family and friends
• We have lots of fun at Diwali Time!

What is Diwali?

• Diwali is the Hindu new year
• It is celebrated for 5 days which are 10th - 15th
  November this year.
• It is the day in which Lord Ram came back from
  his exile in the forest

• It is the festival of lights
• The 5 days are
• Day 1 Dhanterust
• Day 2 Karichaudus
• Day 3 Diwali
• Day 4 Bestu varus
• Day 5 Bhai- beech

What Food we eat

• At Diwali we have lots of food including Indian
  sweets( some are available here for
  tasters!),samosas and lots of other tasty dishes
• We have lots of fun!!!
