Acts 19-11

• 9 After he said this, he was taken up before
  their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their
  sight. 
• 10 They were looking intently up into the sky as
  he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in
  white stood beside them.
• 11 "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand
  here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who
  has been taken from you into heaven, will come
  back in the same way you have seen him go into
  heaven."

1 Thess. 413-18

• 13 Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant
  about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like
  the rest of men, who have no hope.
• 14 We believe that Jesus died and rose again and
  so we believe that God will bring with Jesus
  those who have fallen asleep in him.
• 15 According to the Lord's own word, we tell you
  that we who are still alive, who are left till
  the coming of the Lord, will certainly not
  precede those who have fallen asleep.

1 Thess. 413-18

• 16 For the Lord himself will come down from
  heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of
  the archangel and with the trumpet call of God,
  and the dead in Christ will rise first.
• 17 After that, we who are still alive and are
  left will be caught up together with them in the
  clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we
  will be with the Lord forever.
• 18 Therefore encourage each other with these
  words.

1 Cor. 1520-26

• 20 Christ has indeed been raised from the dead,
  the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
• 21 For since death came through a man, the
  resurrection of the dead comes also through a
  man.
• 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will
  be made alive.
• 23 But each in his own turn Christ, the
  firstfruits then, when he comes, those who
  belong to him.

1 Cor. 1520-26

• 24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the
  kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed
  all dominion, authority and power.
• 25 For he must reign until he has put all his
  enemies under his feet.
• 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

• 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery We will not all
  sleep, but we will all be changed
• 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the
  last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the
  dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be
  changed.
• 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the
  imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.

2 Thess. 16-10

• 6 God is just He will pay back trouble to those
  who trouble you
• 7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to
  us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus
  is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his
  powerful angels.
• 8 He will punish those who do not know God and do
  not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

2 Thess. 16-10

• 9 They will be punished with everlasting
  destruction and shut out from the presence of the
  Lord and from the majesty of his power
• 10 on the day he comes to be glorified in his
  holy people and to be marveled at among all those
  who have believed. This includes you, because you
  believed our testimony to you.

Hebrews 926-28

• 26 Then Christ would have had to suffer many
  times since the creation of the world. But now he
  has appeared once for all at the end of the ages
  to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself.
  27 Just as man is destined to die once, and after
  that to face judgment, 28 so Christ was
  sacrificed once to take away the sins of many
  people and he will appear a second time, not to
  bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are
  waiting for him.

Philippians 320-21

• 20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we
  eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus
  Christ,
• 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring
  everything under his control, will transform our
  lowly bodies so that they will be like his
  glorious body.

•  1 How great is the love the Father has lavished
  on us, that we should be called children of God!
  And that is what we are! The reason the world
  does not know us is that it did not know him.

• 2 friends, now we are children of God, and what
  we will be has not yet been made known. But we
  know that when he appears, we shall be like him,
  for we shall see him as he is.
• 3 Everyone who has this hope in him purifies
  himself, just as he is pure.
