• Daniel 117
• As for these four children, God gave them
  knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom
  and Daniel had understanding in all visions and
  dreams.
• Daniel was a wise prophet.

• Belshazzar,- Babylonian Empire
• Cyrus Medo-Persian Empire
• Darius Medo-Persian Empire
• Daniel was the highest prince under both these
  empires.

Daniels Influence

• Daniel 92
• In the first year of his reign I Daniel
  understood by books the number of the years,
  whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the
  prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years
  in the desolations of Jerusalem.
• Daniel had been brought under the influence of
  Prophet Jeremiah.
• Jeremiah was the weeping prophet of Judah during
  the dark days leading to her destruction.

You Are the Light of the World

• Matthew 514-16
• 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is
  set on an hill cannot be hid.
• 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it
  under a bushel, but on a candlestick and it
  giveth light unto all that are in the house.
• 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they
  may see your good works, and glorify your Father
  which is in heaven.
• God has called us to shine as Daniel was sent
  into Babylon to shine.
• Put one little candle in the middle of a large
  hall, and it will give a good deal of light.

You Are Like a Lighthouse

• John 140-42
• 40 One of the two which heard John speak, and
  followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.

  is, being interpreted, the Christ.

• You are like a lighthouse leading people to
  Christ.

• Preached hell-fire and damnation to queen Mary
  of Scotland and also to bloody Mary, Queen of
  England
