How to join

• First get a judo form and get your parents to
  sign it.
• Send it to the British Judo Association.
• You have to buy a judo kit for the judo clubs you
  will attend or you can hire one.
• You will get a judo licence.

• Hold downs
• Games
• Learning a bit of Japanese
• Learning the English translation

The grades

• White Belt
• Red Belt
• Yellow Belt
• Orange Belt
• Brown Belt
• Blue Belt
• Black Belt
• You can get three red stripes before you move to
  the next belt.

The mons

• There are ten mons in judo which come with your
  belts.(1st mon,2nd mon,3rd mon,etc.)
• When you get a Black Belt, you can change your
  white kit into a blue kit.
