All About Me
  • Background
  • I grew up in this area and I attended Great
    Valley School District.
  • I went to Shippensburg University
  • Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and
    minor in Reading
  • This is my third year at East Goshen.
  • Some things I really enjoy Spending time with my
    family and friends, cooking, playing tennis,
    traveling, reading and watching football (Go
    Eagles!)

  • - Each child is a gift and as a teacher I feel
    that it is my responsibility to open them up to a
    world of learning.

Classroom Management
  • Tickets
  • - Students are rewarded for individual positive
    behavior.
  • - They are able to save their tickets and order
    something from Mrs. Galajdas Jungle Menu.
  • Example Treasure box, lunch with the teacher,
    WAWA raffle, Sit at teachers desk for a dayect
  • Marbles
  • - Students are rewarded for whole class
    cooperation and team work.
  • - They are able to earn marbles for a whole
    class reward. Example PJ party, Class soccer
    gameect.

Consequences
  • Go for the Green
  • Green Great behavior! Students keep making good
    choices.
  • Yellow Student needs to check their behavior.
    This card is pulled if I have already given
    student a verbal warning/redirection. This means
    either 3 minutes on the line at recess or 5
    tickets.
  • Red This card is pulled after all warnings have
    been given out and the student is continuing to
    make bad choices. This will result in either an
    email/phone call home.

King or Queen of the Jungle
  • - This is very similar to Student of the Week or
    Star Student. I will send home a letter attached
    to a poster paper. I will do my best to send the
    letter home a week in advance, or the Friday
    prior to their special week.
  • - They need to create a poster about themselves.
    They should include anything about themselves
    they would like their classmates to know
  • Family Favorite food
  • Interesting facts Favorite places to go
  • What they love about school
  • - They will then have a chance to share their
    poster at the end of the week. In the mean time
    it will hang in our jungle area for everyone to
    view.

  • Afternoon snack
  • Please send in a small and easy to eat snack. NO
    JUICE just water bottle. We have already had many
    spills and messes.
  • Birthday choices

  • a indoor game for the classroom (Age appropriate
    please)
  • Students may bring a simple snack to share with
    their classmates.
  • Must be able to hand it out themselves (no
    cutting involved).
  • No drinks, goody bags or candy. Examples) Soft
    pretzels, cupcakes, fruit cups..ect.
