  • This half term we will be looking at different
    aspects of Black and Asian history in a British
    context, starting with the early Black and Asian
    presence in Britain

Instructions
  • Everyone will have their own copies of maps but
    you will be working in pairs in todays lesson
  • Examine the sources of evidence in your pack.
    They relate to different areas in either London,
    Bristol or Liverpool
  • For each example of Black or Asian presence you
    find, annotate an explanation around that area on
    your map
  • Include key details such as what it is (e.g.
    statue of), when it dates from, and what it
    tells us about the Black or Asian presence (e.g.
    that there were Black and Asian traders in
    Britain as early as)
