Frequently Asked Questions
  • Is my student guaranteed their first choice?
  • No. While we make every attempt to place students
in one of their top choices, we must look at each
career area to evaluate how many students that
area can handle safely and efficiently. Some of
our career areas are required, through their
national certification boards, to adhere to a
    strict teacher-student ratio.

13
Can my student apply to another Vo-Tech school?
  • Yes, they can apply to another Vo-Tech by
following the application process for that
    school.
  • There is no guaranteed admission to that school
or to any of their career choices. They compete
for spots in careers in our other schools with
    the students from that school.
  • The Guidance Counselors will help a student with
    this process.

14
Career Placement Notification
  • When will my student know about their career
    selection?
  • Career Placements selections will be mailed out
    during Spring Break.
  • Who should I contact if I have any questions?
  • Please contact Mr. Wells, or your childs
Guidance Counselor if you have any questions.

15
Unique Experience
  • The exploratory program is a unique and valuable
vocational experience for our students. We know
that they are prepared to begin the career
    placement process.
  • We share their excitement as we move into this
next step on this amazing journey!
  • Thank you for your support.
