Day 1 April 23
  • Depart BZN _at_ 810 a.m. (Delta 1819)
  • Be at airport no later than 700 a.m.!
  • Arrive SAN _at_ 1201 p.m. (Delta 1889)

  • Two nights at the Holiday Inn Express Old Town

  • Old Town San Diego State Historical Park,
    exploring, shopping, etc.
  • Dinner at Casa Guadalajara in Bazaar del Mundo

  • Bus tour to Tijuana, Mexico
  • Time for lunch and shopping in Tijuana

  • Trolley to San Diego Bay, Navy Pier, USS Midway

  • Lunch on your own at San Diego Zoo
  • Bus to Holiday Inn to retrieve luggage shuttle
    to Amtrak Station

  • Watch the sun set over the Pacific Ocean!
  • Dinner on train
  • Two nights at the Jolly Roger Inn Anaheim

Pre-Arranged Absence
  • Memo from Hartman to all teachers two weeks prior
    to departure
  • Pre-arranged activity absence forms distributed
    one week prior to departure
  • MUST be returned in order to attend conference

  • Delegate Conduct Practices and Procedures
  • Attendance Permission Form
  • Dress Code
  • Emergency Information
  • Include emergency contact phone number
  • Beneficiary Information
  • Requirement to attend ALL competitive events,
    exhibits, general sessions, etc.
  • Curfews, etc.

Free Time
  • Requirements
  • You MUST inform Hartman of your planswhat,
    where, when, etc. No exceptions!
  • You MUST go with at least one other person
    (nobody does anything alone)
  • You MUST have a functioning cell phone in your
    possession (I will distribute a listing of all
    cell phone numbers)
  • Hartmans cell number is 579-5545use it!

  • Accept that not everything will go as planned!
  • Accept that you will have free time, but that we
    will do most things together!
  • Accept that you might not like everything that we
    are doing, but you will do it anyway!
