Introduction
  • Christmas is celebrated in many different ways
    all over the world. Countries have different
    beliefs and traditions that they practice during
    this special time of year.
  • In this project you will work with a small group
    to learn all about how another country celebrates
    this special time.
  • You are going to find out what food they eat,
    what traditions they have, what dates they
    celebrate, what decorations they use, and any
    other interesting facts you may find.
  • When you have finished you are going to make a
    Power Point with your group. We will share this
    presentation with another class.

  • The paper from your teacher to complete
  • Pencil
  • Clipboard
  • Crayons

Procedure
  • Steps that you will follow...
  • Organize Get in your group and decide who will
    do what jobs.
  • Research Gather as much information as you can
    on what they eat, how they decorate, what
    traditions they have, when they celebrate, and
    any other interesting facts you find.
  • Record You will record the information on the
    page given to you by the teacher.
  • Draw and write Write about your fact(s) you
    have found and illustrate a picture to match.
  • Combine You will combine everything that you
    have found and learned into a Power Point
    Presentation.

Goal
  • You are getting ready to begin your journey of
    Christmas around the world.
  • Your goal at the enjoy of your journey is to be
    able to teach other children about your country
    and this special time of year.
  • Your audience is going to be eager to learn
    everything they can about that country.
  • You will create and share a Power Point with
    other children to teach them what you have
    learned.
