Curious George Goes to the Race

It was spring in Indianapolis and the city was
excited. Curious George could hear noises coming
from a building. He went inside to see what was
making the sounds.

Curious George saw a big truck. He went inside
to open stuff up. The truck drove away.

Curious George checked out the tools inside the
truck. He was very curious.

Curious George decided to see how the tools
worked.

The truck stopped. Curious George got out. He
saw a lot of race cars. George was very curious.

One of the drivers, Ed Carpenter, had a broken
car. Nobody could fix it.

Curious George liked all the parts of the race
car. While he was under the car, he saw lots of
pipes. Everything was very clean. George fixed
some broken parts.

George tried to start the car. It worked! Now
the team could finish the race.

At the end of the race, George said Good job,
Ed. You won the race! Lets go get a banana
split.
