Tonight, 6.30pm

• Service of the Word, Ruth Heeley, our placement
  student from the Queens Foundation, Birmingham,
  will be preaching on the Great Commission in
  Matthew 28. Do come along to support her.

Next Sunday, TRINITY, 22th May

• 10.30am Healing Communion the service will
  include various opportunities to receive prayer
  for healing. Please come prepared and expectant!
• 5.30pm Church Links Annual Meeting at St.
  Matthews
• 6.30pm Joint Town Centre Ministry Service at St.
  Matthews including prayer for Church Links. No
  service at St. Pauls.

Bulgaria Aid

• Churches in Walsall are invited to contribute to
  the income of a Bulgarian family, who have come
  to England so that the father can train to be a
  pastor and evangelist in his own country.

• The PCC has made a donation of 100 on our
  behalf. Individuals are invited to make further
  contributions. Please see Carole Griffiths or

The new PCC

• - met for the first time last Monday night. The
  major item on the agenda was the Bishops Going
  for Growth initiative. Did you know that
  minutes of PCC meetings are displayed on the
  notice board in the south aisle, for your
  information?

Jennys ordination

• as priest will take place at 5.00pm on Saturday,
  25th June at St. Johns Church, Wolverhampton.
  Well probably organise lifts -- but please note
  the date!

Wippasnappaz Car Wash Fundraiser

• thanks to all who brought cars to the Vicarage
  for washing yesterday. We raised 100 for Butts
  School.

Today is the end of Christian Aid Week.

• (May 15th to May 22nd). Thanks to all who were
  involved in collecting around the parish this
  week, and to Penel Cockbill for co-ordinating the
  effort

Prayer Meeting, 9.45am every Sunday

• until the end of the School Term in July, our
  work with children and young people is operating
  on an interim basis, with a weekly creche and Fun
  Club on the 2nd and 4th Sundays only.
