Our Hearts Cry!

• It happened after 911. Remember when we gathered
  in local stadium arenas to claim our communities
  for Jesus Christ? Voices massed together in one
  accord. Christians of all denominations cried out
  together in unity, using every opportunity to
  tell listeners about this amazing hope - God
  loves this world so very much that He gave His
  only Son that whoever believes in Him never
  perishes, but has everlasting and abundant life!

Wave or Trickle?

• We saw those days as waves of opportunities to
  bring liberty to bound people! We were excited
  about all the possibilities! We still are, yet as
  time advances there are days when the waves seem
  to lose momentum. In fact, those waves may seem
  like trickles of rain on a sea of lifes
  evangelistic endeavors.

Fire or Embers?

• Soon the burning passion began to turn into
  flickering embers. It now seems evidenced by a
  world of dysfunction, destined for destruction as
  
• we hear the clamor for
• peace, charity, and success in
• every arena of life.

THE GOOD NEWS IS

• God is not done with His people and continues to
  draw souls to His heart!
• And this is the testimony, God has given us Life
  and this Life is in His Son - JESUS! I John 511

The Challenge

• As were moving through this 21st century, we
  carry the cross of Jesus. As men and women of
  Jesus Christ, what will be our hearts cry? Is
  our hearts cry to serve Christ? Of course it is!
  So lets allow His mighty Spirit to ignite a fire
  that burns so brightly that others cant help
• but see Christ in us!

• Its not about NW Outreach Ministries-Its about
  God and His ultimate victory using each of us to
  fan the embers. Lets, through Jesus, allow His
  Holy fire to refill us, refine us, renew us, and
  follow Gods call to reach the lost!

• Small group interaction focusing on prayer and
  Christs amazing love grace!
• Faith renewal, spiritual reflection, refreshment,

The Purpose

• The purpose of your Living Weekend is simple
• To encourage and strengthen GODS people!
• Ordinary people, at their own expense,
  are invited to share their faith journey. Each is
  given 3-6 minutes to share their stories
  throughout a weekend. We all get blessed to hear
  Gods extraordinary faithfulness in ordinary
  lives made extraordinary through His grace!

• Morning Coffee Fellowships in homes (a wonderful
  outreach for friends and neighbors)
• Lunch breakouts for men and ladies
• Small group sessions
• Evening sharing communion service
• Sunday sharing by Living Weekend Servants
• Flexible for changes to better fit your church.

GODS LOVE SHINES THROUGH HIS SERVANTS!

• Together we are called into fellowship for
  outreach to others and to one another!
• Our desire is to be a reflection of the example
  of Jesus! Remember how amazed His disciples were
  when He washed His disciples feet? What was that
  all about?
• Remember, How the first church grew? It was said
  of them, Behold, how they love one another!
• It takes an attitude of servanthood!
• What does that really mean?

Servant Attitude

• Our attitude should be the same as that of Christ
  Jesus, Who, being in very nature God, did not
  consider equality with God something to be
  grasped, but made Himself nothing, taking the
  very nature of a servant, being made in human
  likeness, and being found in appearance as a man,
  he humbled Himself and became obedient to death
  even death on a cross (Phil. 25-8)

Prayer Coordinator/s

• Before the LIVING WEEKEND!
• The Prayer Ministry Coordinator makes sure the
  weekend is drenched in prayer!
• Organizes a prayer vigil! A sign up sheet is
  provided.
• Praying for the visiting servant team!
• Praying for the church community!

Home Coffee Coordinator/s

• The Home Coffee Coordinator/s
• Finds host homes for coffee groups that gather on
  Saturday morning.
• Posts a sign-up sheet for those planning to
  attend home coffee sharing groups and assigns
  each visiting team member to a host home.

Welcome Transportation Coordinator/s

• The Welcome Transportation Coordinator/s
  ensures that the visiting team members are
  welcomed and introduced to their host families.
• Provides maps and directions to the homes of the
  host families.
• Makes sure the visiting team has transportation
  to and from the church and their host homes and
  to the small group coffees.

• Secures host homes for the visiting LIVING
  WEEKEND servant team for Friday and Saturday
  nights.
• Gets names, addresses, phone numbers of the
  hosts.

• A few comments heard after a Living Weekend
• God was really at work! I have never sensed the
  power of His Spirit in this way before!
• What a wonderful weekend this has been we were
  especially thrilled when our children came home
  and wanted to learn more scriptures!
• I never realized how much we would enjoy a
  weekend like this we cant wait for another
  one!

  all He has done for us!
