Goals

• My goals for the website are
• Able to have the next Computer Chairman to be
  able to continue with what I have started easily.
• Make it so anyone can view it with easy and not
  have to waste their time by waiting for the pages
  to load.
• Use it as a main part of the mass communication
  goal of my Recorder position.
• To help develop a communicative way for anyone,
  potential members or not, to see what we are
  about.

Articles Page

• This page, which is still being developed, will
  allow any executive member to write an article
  about an event, that occurred or will be
  occurring.
• This will also be used to inform members, or
  alumni, about events the house is doing.
• This will not be updated a whole lot, due to
  content will be limited on a need-to-know basis.

Prospective Members Page

• This page, which is also still being developed,
  will allow members that we get in contact with
  over the summer to download forms, items from
  Nationals, view event pictures, view Rush Week
  events, and more.
• This will be a HUGE tool to help recruit the goal
  of 37 bids.
• It will allow us to keep in contact with them
  through an online form, and important dates for
  events over the summer.

Alumni Page

• This page is rapidly being developed for support
  of the fundraiser.
• The alumnus will be able to sign up for the
  weekly chapter minutes, and the main content area
  will be have the articles from the Alumni
  Chairman (Wente), and I am thinking of sending
  out the semester newsletter via email/section.

Member Page

• The member section will the be the ONLY section
  in which there is a password.
• The password code (JavaScript) is really quite
  archaic, and will be updated once I improve all
  other sections.
• It will have an archive of past minutes, forms,
  flyers, and any other information that the house
  would benefit from for its growth.
• This will be one of the last pages to be
  finished, due to priorities.

Calendar Page

• This page will allow anyone to view events that
  house is hold, except for non-public social
  events.
• This is done for involvement and security
  purposes.
• It will be up after the Alumni Page, and
  Prospective Members page.
• Im still trying to figure out a way in which to
  allow members and alumni to add events.
• Im also thinking of using a 3rd-Party website to
  host it on for free.

Picture Viewer Page

• This page will be for any photos that are taken
  from events.
• Only restriction is no alcohol or drug related
  pictures, due to the server is the universitys
  and its against their policy to have such
  things.
• The photos will be put onto a 3rd-Party server
  (Photobucket.com), which is free, and have no
  limit to the amount of pictures.
• There will be a section under that page which Im
  still developing to allow members or alumni to
  upload the picture(s).
• Sadly, technology has only gone so far, so I will
  monitor if the pictures are substance free. This
  will most likely take 24 hours to review and
  upload to the 3rd-Party server.

History Page

• This page will have a history of the house,
  important events, and most likely history of the
  fraternity.
• This section will be updated by the Historian.
• Theyll need to find or write the articles for me
  to add to the website.
• This, I hope, will be done fairly quickly, if
  not, I will refer the user to the Nationals
  website for history and pictures.

Upper Content Boxes

• These boxes will be updated as frequently as
  possible.
• It will either hold quick news about the house,
  important meetings/events, or anything else that
  is important to the improvement of the house.
• As of right now, they are not a priority, and
  might be the last to be edited.
• This will occur unless I get them to be
  dynamically editable.

• The links here will be to the university,
  Nationals website, and any other think that I
  feel is necessary to the development of the
  fraternity in a positive way.
