Demographic Data Of Angola

• Area and population
• The Republic of Angola is situated in the
  southwest part of the African Continent and faces
  to the Atlantic Ocean, with the area of 1,247,000
  square km and the population of about 14.295.086.

Pending Issues on Carrying out the projects

• Socio-cultural influence on ICT services.
• So-called socio-cultural aspects like cultural
  values,institutional relations, political
  dynamics, and educational background influence
  the perception of potential user groups, and
  therefore have an impact on the adoption and use
  of the technology
• Any project must verify the White Paper regarding
  the telecommunication policy in Angola and Basic
  telecommunications Law.

• National backbone under construction ( estimated
  cost is 200.000.000 USD ).
• Digital Divide
• Big gaps between urban and rural areas. No fixed
  or mobile phone in rural.
