• Water depths from Cruising notes.
• About 1.2m (on the end of their pontoon) at half
  an hour after HW Portsmouth (but the pressure was
  1025mb and tide only 4.0).
• High water Mengham is ten minutes earlier than
  Portsmouth.
• The nearby channel is much deeper than the
  pontoon itself.
• The inside of the pontoon is not recommended by
  Mengham SC but could be used by small (narrow!)
  boats as it slopes up rather rapidly.
• Visitors Comment
• Super atmosphere in the club ... crowded with
  people for lunch on Sunday despite low water and
  no sailing.
