What is FFA?
The National FFA Organization is dedicated to
making a positive difference in the lives of
students by developing their potential for
premier leadership, personal growth and career
success through agricultural education.

1988 Future Farmers of America was renamed the
National FFA Organization to reflect the growing
diversity of agriculture
1928 - The National FFA Association was
organized.
1969 - The FFA elected to welcome female members
into the organization.

Who Can Join?

• Any 7-12 grader enrolled in an agriculture class
  at a public school.

Supervised Agricultural Experience
What is it? A SAE program is the actual, hands-on
application of concepts and principles learned in
the agricultural education classroom. Students
are supervised and assisted by their advisor to
help them develop and achieve their goals.
