  • All childcare settings need to take steps to
    prevent unwanted visitors and to ensure children
    remain on the premises.

  • Physical factors, such as the height of door
    handles and the use of inhibitors on windows

    to take part in outings

    for the parents of children on the outing, first
    aid kit, a mobile phone.
  • Harnesses, seat belts, child seats and booster
    seats are used as appropriate. They are in good
    condition and used appropriately.
  • Any vehicles used for transporting children have
    adequate insurance cover.
