Cowboy Day March 6th We will have a special
cowboy day to celebrate our study of Texas. Your
child can dress western on this day. We will be
eating cowboy grub on this day. Please see the
enclosed page for item your child needs to bring.
Your child will not need a lunch on this day!
As part of our celebration your child will need
to make a stick horse to use in our horse races.
We prefer that the children use their
imaginations and create a stick horse instead of
purchasing one. They can use anything they want
to make it. (Ideas broom handle with a sock
head, dowel rod with a box head, yardstick with a
paper head . . .) Be creative! Children should
to be able to gallop with the horse between their
legs so please make sure all parts are secure!!
Stick horses should be brought to school on
Thursday, March 5th.
