University), or require lots of personal

- Working Poor spends at least 27 weeks in the
workforce, and income falls below the poverty
line - In 2003, annual income for a family of four
18,810 - 9/hour assuming 40 hours/week, 52 weeks/year
- An extra 60/week would be a 17 pay increase
- Existing systems dont adequately help working
poor - Many work multiple "part-time" jobs, so they
don't get any "full-time" benefits - 80 would take another part-time job if offered
- Few opportunities to learn new skills
- 70 of working poor are likely to stay poor
- No chance to get a better education

- Public Television stations often give substantial
member perks for donating money - Increases the consumer value of the donation
- Gives donator something tangible from their

year - Approximately 1,000 members who donated at least

browse and accept these job postings, and receive

parties fulfill their obligations, and to provide
financial security to both parties
