    total substitute for personal contact)?

  • Critical Mass Get people to USE the site,
    otherwise is it really worth the effort?
  • Content  Anything (and ONLY things) that people

    its not like taking wine!)
  • Audience orientation Design for your audience
    and not for yourself.

How does it work then?
  • Simple form to register domain name
  • All domain name registration, initial setup (with
    header graphic), publication to the internet and
    hosting is done for you
  • Choose email forwarding addresses (or even your
    own managed POP3 mailboxes)
  • Domain name 5 for 2 years (in most cases), 25
    one-time licence. FREE hosting (courtesy of RTBI)

  • and some images. Be bold and brave.
  • Be a webmaster you know you want to!

  • Define a clear purpose for your website and be
    true to it (interesting, useful, fun?)
  • Keep it real. Fresh content regularly there is
    no excuse!
  • Dont do it all yourself spread the load.
  • Communicate by web (rather than by attachment),
    but dont ignore the need for personal contact
  • Try not to turn into a nerd.
