• The left LED should flash red and green
• The right LED should be solid red or green

• Press the ON button
• The LED indicator will flash red and green
• Choose a 10-digit password
• Record your password

  you password
• Press the ADD button
• Continue selecting the numbers of your password
  (two at a time)

• Enrolling Users - Getting Started
• Turn the hand-held programmer on
• Set both the rotary switches to zero
• Touch the programmer to the readerNOTE the
  reader alternates betweenchecking for activity
  at the scanner andactivity at the programmer
  button. If you touch the programmer to the
  readerwhile the scanner is on, there will be a
  slight delay.

• Enrolling Users - Adding a User
• The Zodiac Reader will give a 3 second tone
• Use the rotary switches to choose a memory slot
  (01 to 90)
• Press the ADD button
• Touch the programmer to the reader again
• NOTE if the memory slot is taken, the reader
  will beep 3 times

• The fingerprint scanner will turn on
• The user should place his or her finger on the
  sensor
• It is essential to cover the entire sensor

• Enrolling Users - Capturing Fingerprint Images
• After the first fingerprint image is captured,
  the reader will beep
• The user should remove his or her finger and
  present it again
• After the second image is captured, the scanner
  will beep again
• The user is now enrolled
• NOTE Place your finger on the scanner when the
  scanner flashes red and leave your finger on the
  scanner until the red light turns off.

• Enrolling Users - Returning to Normal Operating
  Mode
• Record the name of the user and the memory slot
  used
• Set both rotary switches to zero
• Touch the programmer to the reader
• The reader will beep and the scanner will cycle
  on and off
• The reader is now in Normal Operating Mode

• Deleting Users
• Turn the programmer ON
• Set both rotary switches to zero
• Touch the programmer to the reader
• Use the rotary switches to select the memory slot
  of the user
• Press DELETE
• Touch the programmer to the reader again

• Turn the programmer ON
• Set both rotary switches to zero
• Touch the programmer to the reader
• Use the rotary switches to select a memory slot
  (91-98)
• Record the user's name and memory slot and press
  ADD
• Touch the programmer to the reader again
• Touch the bypass key to the reader

• Resetting the Reader
• Turn the programmer ON
• Set both rotary switches to zero
• Touch the programmer to the reader
• Set the rotary switches to 99
• Press DELETE, listen for the tone and press
  DELETE again
• Touch the programmer to the reader
