1(No Transcript)
2I John 416-17 (KJV) 16 And we have known and
believed the love that God hath to us. God is
love and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in
God, and God in him. 17 Herein is our love made
perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of
judgment because as he is, so are we in this
world.
3Rom 57 (KJV) But God commendeth his love toward
us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ
died for us.
4Luke 632 (KJV) For if ye love them which love
you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love
those that love them.
5Matt 186-7 (KJV) But whoso shall offend one of
these little ones which believe in me, it were
better for him that a millstone were hanged about
his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth
of the sea.
67 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it
must needs be that offences come but woe to that
man by whom the offence cometh!
7Luke 171-5 (KJV) 1 Then said he unto the
disciples, It is impossible but that offences
will come but woe unto him, through whom they
come! 2 It were better for him that a millstone
were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the
sea, than that he should offend one of these
little ones.
83 Take heed to yourselves If thy brother
trespass against thee, rebuke him and if he
repent, forgive him. 4 And if he trespass against
thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a
day turn again to thee, saying, I repent thou
shalt forgive him.
95 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase
our faith.
10John 1334-35 (KJV) 34 A new commandment I give
unto you, That ye love one another as I have
loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By
this shall all men know that ye are my disciples,
if ye have love one to another.
11I Pet 38-10 (KJV) 8 Finally, be ye all of one
mind, having compassion one of another, love as
brethren, be pitiful, be courteous 9 Not
rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing
but contrariwise blessing knowing that ye are
thereunto called, that ye should inherit a
blessing.
1210 For he that will love life, and see good days,
let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his
lips that they speak no guile
13Matt 1821-22 (KJV) 21 Then came Peter to him,
and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin
against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee,
Until seven times but, Until seventy times seven.
14Matt 1827 (KJV) Then the lord of that servant
was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and
forgave him the debt.
15Heb 1215 (KJV) Looking diligently lest any man
fail of the grace of God lest any root of
bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby
many be defiled
16Rom 138 (NLT) Owe nothing to anyoneexcept for
your obligation to love one another. If you love
your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements
of Gods law.
17II Pet 15-10 (Gods Word Translation) Because of
this, make every effort to add integrity to your
faith and to integrity add knowledge 6 to
knowledge add self-control to self-control add
endurance to endurance add godliness
187 to godliness add Christian affection and to
Christian affection add love. 8 If you have these
qualities and they are increasing, it
demonstrates that your knowledge about our Lord
Jesus Christ is living and productive.
199 If these qualities aren't present in your life,
you're shortsighted and have forgotten that you
were cleansed from your past sins.
2010 Therefore, brothers and sisters, use more
effort to make God's calling and choosing of you
secure. If you keep doing this, you will never
fall away.
21I Cor 134-8 (Message) Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self. Love
doesn't want what it doesn't have. Love doesn't
strut, Doesn't have a swelled head,
22Doesn't force itself on others, Isn't always "me
first," Doesn't fly off the handle, Doesn't keep
score of the sins of others, Doesn't revel when
others grovel, Takes pleasure in the flowering of
truth, Puts up with anything, Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
23Never looks back, But keeps going to the end.
8-10 Love never dies.
24I Cor 134-8 (Amp.) 4 Love endures long and is
patient and kind love never is envious nor boils
over with jealousy, is not boastful or
vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.
5 It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with
pride)
25it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act
unbecomingly. Love (God's love in us) does not
insist on its own rights or its own way, for it
is not self-seeking it is not touchy or fretful
or resentful it takes no account of the evil
done to it it pays no attention to a suffered
wrong.
266 It does not rejoice at injustice and
unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and
truth prevail. 7 Love bears up under anything and
everything that comes, is ever ready to believe
the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless
under all circumstances, and it endures
everything without weakening.
278 Love never fails never fades out or becomes
obsolete or comes to an end.
