Morning Procedures
  • Buses drop off in front of school, one bus at a
    time. Parents drop off in back of school.
  • Building opens at 805 a.m.if you are here you
    must enterno hanging around outside!
  • Students eating breakfast and/or needing to drop
    off an absence note enter through front doors of
    school at 805 a.m.
  • All other students, enter at the outside end of
    the hall where your homeroom is located.

Morning Procedures
  • Students sit quietly, side by side, with their
    backs against the wall and legs drawn in until
    815 bell.
  • Students eating breakfast need to get food from
    cafeteria line and sit on top level to eat.
  • If you bring food from home please sit on top
    level to eat.
  • Students will throw away trash and sit quietly in
    cafeteria until 815 bell.

  • If you need to drop off an Absence Note
  • enter through front doors at 805 and go to
    office window.
  • If not eating breakfast, EXIT front doors and
    walk around building to enter the hall where your
    homeroom is located.
  • If eating breakfast, go straight to cafeteria.
  • Any students riding wheels to school need to
    secure the wheels either outside or in the
    office. After arriving at school, wheels may
    not be ridden.
  • At 815, all students report to HOMEROOM.

Hallway Expectations
  • Walk on right side of hall. Use the IN and OUT
    doors.
  • Keep hands, feet, belongings to self.
  • Use inside voice level school appropriate
    language.
  • Walk with a purpose, no standing around.
  • Respond respectfully to ALL adult redirection.

Cafeteria Expectations
  • Walk to from the cafeteria in an ORDERLY
    fashion with teacher.
  • Stand and wait in line respectfully, keeping
    hands, feet and belongings to self.
  • Be seated at a table with your tray or food.
  • Seats at your table are first come, first
    serve.

Cafeteria Expectations
  • Remain seated unless walking with a purpose
    throw away trash, clean up spills, go to restroom
    or go outside.
  • Speak in an inside voice.
  • Consume all food drinks in the cafeteria.
  • Clean up your area.

Restroom Expectations
  • Restrooms are to be used during Passing Periods.
  • During class periods, students may use the
    restroom only in an EMERGENCY.
  • May not exit class at all during first 15 minutes
    of class or last 5 minutes
  • Must have the EMERGENCY HALL PASS before exiting
    class
  • Must return with pass in a reasonable amount of
    time

Restroom Expectations
  • In bathroom
  • Flush toilet
  • Wash hands
  • Turn off water
  • Throw trash in basket
  • Remember the 5 Gs Go, Get in, Go, Get out, Get
    back!

Library Expectations
  • Walk
  • Speak in an inside voice -- only your neighbor
    should be able to hear you!
  • Clean up after yourself -- i.e., push in your
    chair, put away newspapers and magazines, and
    reshelve books correctly.
  • Use your time for reading or research.
  • Feel free to ask questions about how the library
    works!

Afternoon Procedures
  • 340 All bus riders will exit the building
    through the front doors - Get directly on the
    bus.
  • Buses will leave at 348.
  • 345 Walkers Car riders exit building in a
    quiet, orderly manner through the exit doors
    nearest 6th period class.

Afternoon Procedures
  • If parents pick you up, walk to the back of the
    building and stand on the sidewalk. After 400
    pm, student pick up will be in the front of the
    building.
  • You must be out of building and off campus by
    400 p.m. unless you are in a supervised activity
    with a faculty member.

Afternoon Procedures
  • Students attending after school activities should
    remain in the building with faculty supervision.
  • If you need to use the phone please ask your 6th
    period teacher. Office phone is only for
    emergencies.
  • School supervision ends at 400 p.m.

Rainy/Muddy Day Procedures
  • An announcement will be made that we are on rainy
    day procedures beginning at 805 am.
  • Buses will unload one at a time with students
    entering through the front doors.
  • Car riders will enter through the back main doors
    near the 8th grade hall.
  • Walkers will enter through the nearest main hall
    doors.
  • Once in the building enter your homeroom hall and
    follow usual morning procedures.

Locker Expectations
  • Purpose
  • To increase instructional time for each student.
  • Teacher Expectations
  • Make sure students are using lockers during the
    appropriate locker use time.
  • Expectations
  • Use lockers during the designated times
  • Before School, After School.

Locker Expectations
  • 7th grade athletes will be escorted by coaches at
    the end of first period.
  • 8th grade athletes will go to lockers between 5th
    and 6th period before going to athletics.
  • Band instruments to be taken between 815-820
  • Clear or mesh backpacks MAY be carried throughout
    the day. Teachers will determine placement of
    backpacks once in the classroom.
