5- DRIPtec Take-over!
- Social justice group at Fr. Leo J. Austin CHS in
Whitby, ON involved their whole school by staging
a take over of their school water supply by
DRIPtec. - At 10 am on the day of the takeover, their
fellow students faced higher drink prices in the
cafeteria, limited access to drinking fountains
and bathrooms and opportunities to sign the water
declaration. - Needless to say, all were relieved and much more
aware when water was restored to public control
at 2 pm the same day.
