• The Battle of Badon Hill was the twelfth battle
  of King Arthur, as well as his last victory
  against the Saxons. It was Arthurs greatest
  triumph, 940-960 Saxon men died from one charge
  from King Arthur. To this day people are not sure
  where the exact location of the battle occurred.

Liddington Castle

• This castle used to be known as Badbury Castle.
  It is possible that the Saxons might have used
  the Roman roads in the area to attack a
  population of British people in the area. It is
  unlikely to have been any further north than
  Liddington because there were not enough British
  and Saxon forces for one battle to have stopped
  the Saxon invasion.

Bath

• Also known as Little Solsbury Hill. Nennius,
  writing in the 800s, seems to say that Bath and
  Badon are the same place.

Bowden Hill

• Bowden Hill is south of the Scottish town
  Linlithgow, and claims to be the battle site of
  Badon Hill.
