Finding the Summary Sheet

• Go to the website http//www.tennessee.gov/educati
  on/.
• Then click on programs at the top.
• This link will take you to the programs page.
  Scroll all the way to the bottom until you see
  work-based learning. Click it.
• You will be taken to the work-based learning
  site.

You have arrived

• Now that you are on the correct page, look at the
  menu on the left side of the screen.
• The word in red is what you want to click. It
  will not be red on the web page, this is just for
  demonstration purposes.

Clicking the word WORD

• After you have clicked Word, you will see a box
  like this.
• It will ask whether you want to open, save,
  cancel, or get more info. Click open.

Summary Sheet

• After you click open, a Word document will come
  up on your screen. The first two pages are the
  directions on how to name your file once you save
  it.
• To find your summary sheet, you need to scroll
  all the way to the third page.
• Each line has a gray box on it, just click on the
  lines and type. The gray box will disappear as
  you type.

Finishing summary sheet

• When you are finished typing all of your
  information, you need to save a copy of the file
  to your computer.
• Go to file, save as. A box that looks like this
  will appear.
• Then you will want to type in the unique file
  name.

Naming your summary sheet

• The first three letters of the file name should
  be unique to coordinators area
• a. Teaching and Learning WTL
• b. Special Education WSP
• c. Vocational-Technical WVT
• Change the 3 zeros after the 3 letters to your
  system number.
• Enter Sum (for summer or WIN for winter)_(the
  last two digits of the year).
• Enter your school name (use only 6 letters,
  abbreviate when needed)
• Enter either the coordinators two letter
  initials or an individual number (if you have
  more than one coordinator at your school).
• Your file name should look similar to this
• WVT000_Sum_05_School_AB
• After you have finished the name, click save.

Uploading summary sheet

• Now you are ready to upload your summary sheet.
• Go to http//www.tennessee.gov/education/voced/wb/
  .
• You will see the menu on the left side once more.
  Click the very first selection, Upload WBL
  Summary Sheet.
• Then click Work-Based Learning Summary Sheet -
  Upload File To State.

Login Authorization

• The login page asks for the User ID and Password.
• If you need assistance with your User ID and
  Password, e-mail sheila.carlton_at_state.tn.us or
  lynne.cohen_at_state.tn.us, or call 615-532-2800 and
  ask for Sheila Carlton or Lynne Cohen.
• After you have entered both of these, click
  login.
• Then click user.

Select file to Upload

• The upload screen appears. Click the BROWSE
  button, and it will open a choose file box.
• Find your
• file, click it,
• then click open.

• Now your file should appear in the box beside
  browse. It might appear like this
• C\Documents and Settings\My Documents\
  WVT000_Sum_05_School_AB
• After it has appeared in the box beside browse,
  click the send file button.

CONGRATULATIONS.

• A confirmation screen will appear that verifies
  that the file has been successfully uploaded.
• You may print this for your records, but if you
  cannot print it will NOT affect the uploading of
  the file. Printing it is just for your personal
  records.
