Butch loved playing outside. He played ball with
his owner, Maurice.

While Butch was playing outside, he saw a
squirrel running away with Maurices apple!

Get him, Butch! yelled Maurice, angrily.

Oh no, you dont, thought Butch as he chased
after that pesky squirrel.

But that crazy squirrel was too fast! He got all
the way up on top of the tall brick wall before
Butch could catch him.

Poor Butch! He was ashamed that he failed Maurice
at catching that squirrel.

Thats all right, Butch, said Maurice, youre
still a good dog. Lets play catch again.And
Butch was happy again.
