Course Aim
  • To provide an integrated systematic approach
    to training education of RNs working on a
    regular basis with patients who have cancer

Educational Aims
  • The course aims to enable nurses to
  • Confidently and competently asess, plan, manage
    evaluate care of patients with cancer
  • Challenge existing practice
  • Demonstrate self awareness through the
    development of skills of critical thinking,
    problem solving reflection
  • Work collaboratively with other health care
    practitioners through increased awareness of
    roles contributions to care
  • Demonstrate an understanding of personal needs
    for support development of self colleagues
