Not actually taught- you will be tested on the
Geographical skills you pick up during the year

The Schedule

• There are 3 exams for AS Geography (explained
  previously).
• You are doing one of these exams in January
• This Exam is worth 35 of the total mark
• It will be solely on Module (Unit) 2- Human
  Geography
• Therefore all the work that you do between now
  and Xmas (with me and Paul at Dudley College)
  will be in the first exam

The Schedule

• After Xmas (and after you have done your exam) we
  will start on the Physical Geography (Module
  (Unit) 1)
• This will examined as usual in Summer 2005
• If you wish to (at your own expense) you can
  retake Module 2 at this time as well
• You will go a field course with Dudley College in
  May 2005
• The third exam is Module (unit) 3 which is
  Geographical Skills

• If you remember there are 3 parts to Module 2
  (exam after Xmas)-
• POPULATION DYNAMICS
• SETTLEMENT PATTERNS AND PROCESSES
• ECONOMIC ACTIVITY

• On Tuesdays you will be doing Economic
  Activity with me.
• On Fridays you will be doing Population
  Dynamics with Paul
• 4 or 5 weeks before Xmas, both Paul I will be
  teaching Settlement Patterns and Processes.
