Precinct Chair

• Elected/Appointed Party Official
• Responsible for getting the Democratic message
  out to the voters in his/her precinct
• Identifies and registers new voters
• Activates voters to vote

Precinct Captain / Organizer

• Volunteers to actively assist a Precinct Chair
• Works actively in a precinct with a vacant chair

Precinct Judge
Presiding or Alternate Election Judges

• Appointed by the Harris County Commissioners
  Court for a one year term
• Works all elections in that precinct except the
  primary, which is run by the party

• ACTIVATE!!! Bring Democratic supporters/voters
  in your precinct to the polls to vote.

• Contact State Senate District Vacancy Chair

• Term 2 years
• Paperwork available to file to run Oct. 4, 2005
• Filing deadline Jan. 6, 2006, 600 P.M.
• Primary Election March 7, 2006
