Student Enrollment (SN) changes to include
academic program data

• Academic Programs in the Student Enrollment
  Submission
• Starting in Summer 2005 the Student Enrollment
  (SN) file submission will include the Academic
  Program Code as reported in the Academic Program
  (AP) file.
• This change is part of a larger effort initiated
  by the Board to review the processes in place to
  determine the continued viability of new degree
  programs approved by the Board.
• Because the academic program code is also
  collected in the Degree/Certificate Earned (DC)
  file, OBR staff can also review graduates from
  those programs.
• The SN file has been updated accordingly and is
  available at http//www.regents.state.oh.us/hei/da
  tasubdoc/enrollment/production/snfile.html. The
  SN file for reporting through SP 2005 has been
  placed at http//www.regents.state.oh.us/hei/datas
  ubdoc/enrollment/archive/snfile03112005.html. All
  other fields have remained the same.
• Edits for the SN file will be modified to verify
  the academic program code against the list of
  valid academic programs reported in the AP file.

Non-Credit data collection update

• Non Credit Rollout Timeline
• (FY 05) September 2004 June 2005
• All campuses may send all non-credit data to HEI
  for testing.
• (FY 06) July 1, 2005
• All campuses receiving Jobs Challenge funds begin
  reporting FY 06 non-credit data (collected
  between July 1, 2005 June 30, 2006). Data
  beyond Jobs Challenge is encouraged but optional.

• Authorization Review
• HEI is conducting a review over the next several
  months to determine whether all users have a user
  authorization form on file.
• If no form is currently in HEI records, the user
  will be contacted and HEI will request that they
  fill out the form.
• By the end of the review, all users without an
  authorization form will have their HEI access
  removed.
