  • Exercise is one of those high leverage
activities that most of us dont do consistently
because it isnt urgent.Hence, sooner or later we
find ourselves dealing with health problems and
crises that come as a natural result of our
    neglect.

9
The Physical Dimension
  • A good exercise program is one that you can do in
your own home and one that will build your body
    in three areas
  • Endurance
  • Flexibility
  • Strength

10
The Physical Dimension
  • Endurance comes from aerobic exercise, from
    cardiovascular efficiency-the ability of your
heart to pump blood through your body.
  • Flexibility comes through stretching.
  • Strength comes from muscle resistance exercises
    like push-ups,pull-ups,and sit ups,and from
    working with weights.

11
The Spiritual Dimension
  • The spiritual dimension is your core, your
center, your commitment to your value system. Its
a very private area of life and a supremely
important one.It draws upon the sources that
inspire and uplift you to the timeless truths of
    all humanity.

12
The Spiritual Dimension
  • One can find renewal in daily prayerful
meditation ,immersion in great literature or
great music or may be with communication with the
    nature.
  • Spiritual renewal takes investment of time. But
its an activity we dont really have time to
    neglect.

13
The Spiritual Dimension
  • Religious leader David O.McKay taught,The
greatest battles of life are fought out daily in
the silent chambers of the soul.If you win the
battles there,if you settle the issues that
inwardly conflict, you will feel a sense of peace
and you will find that public victories will
    follow naturally.

The Mental Dimension
  • Reading-Valuable to read broadly and to expose
yourself to great minds and not watching so much
    TV.

    experiences, insights, and learning's promotes
    mental clarity exactness, and context.

you see your self in a contributive and creative
    mode, making a difference.
  • Empathy-Identification with and understanding of
    anothers feelings, and motives.
  • Synergy-working together. Interaction of people
so that their combined effect is greater than the
    sum of their individual effects.
