Background
Media is seen as one of the main avenues for
people today to discuss and debate ideas, promote
concepts and influence policy makers. However,
there is a dearth of balanced Muslim media in the
world today. Despite the success of mainstream
media outlets such as Al-Jazeera and a few
others, there is still a need to fill this
information vacuum. High quality, challenging
intellectual works are also severely lacking in
the Muslim world today. In addition, the Muslim
world also suffers from a lack of the promotion
of its rich and varied heritage. Thus, there is
great need for high quality reading, audio and
visual material. Fajr Symphony aims to promote,
to network and to help develop high quality
Islamic media material and to make it accessible
to a wider public.

Past Projects - Nasheeds

• The launch and re-production of two Nasheed
  Albums at Masjid Shakirin, KLCC, Malaysia.
• The Albums are
• Spring Has Come by Shaam. Based in Birmingham,
  UK, Shaam came together in late 1997 seeking to
  present and re-interpret traditional Islamic
  songs known as Nasheeds.
• 786 by SEVEN8SIX. The talented singing group
  from Detroit, USA, is made up of five members.
  SEVEN8SIX is the very definition of vocal
  harmony.

Launched and distributed Al-Ghazali The
Alchemist of Happiness in Malaysia. Currently in
the process of launching the award winning
documentary in South Africa.

der Borgh Genre Documentary Synopsis
Exploring the life and impact of the greatest
spiritual and legal philosopher in Islamic
history, this film examines Ghazali's existential
crisis of faith that arose from his rejection of
religious dogmatism, and reveals profound
parallels with our own times. Ghazali became
known as the Proof of Islam and his path of love
and spiritual excellence overcame the pitfalls of
the organised religion of his day.
