- Tutor Qualifications
- Carter, Reddy meets or exceeds all NCLB
legislation regarding SES Tutor qualifications.
Whenever possible, we strive to utilize certified
teachers as instructors, but ALL tutors possess a
minimum of 60 hours of College coursework
(equivalent to an Associates Degree). In
addition, all tutors must pass a background
clearance and undergo a training program specific
to the Carter, Reddy model. This also includes
ongoing support and education.

18Where are services offered?
- Carter, Reddy Associates, Inc. understands the
varying needs of different communities.
Consequently, our site locations are determined
by the needs of the parents and students.
Locations may include local schools, public
libraries, community centers, and faith-based
centers depending on the wishes of those involved
in our program.
19When are services offered?
- The Carter, Reddy program is typically offered
after school, from approximately 3-5 p.m., and
typically includes a snack as well. Weekend and
customized session times are available as needed.
20Do We Provide Transportation?
- Carter, Reddy does not provide transportation to
or from SES sessions at this time. We remain
flexible regarding where our sites are located
and the times we offer services in part to make
this issue easier for parents/guardians. We
strive to provide convenient locations close to
public transportation as well.
21Who Qualifies For Services?
- Receives free/reduced lunch
- Attends failing school (Phase II or above)
- In grades K-12
