  • Attained Other Post-Secondary Degree or
    Certification
  • Select this level of education when a
    participant received a post-secondary vocational
    or technical degree or certificate, associates
    degree, or any other post-secondary degree or
    certificate (excluding Bachelor's Degree or
    Equivalent).

Definition
  • Employed, Received Termination Notice or Military
    Separation
  • Select this labor status category if the
    participant is a person who, although employed,
    either
  • has received a notice of termination of
    employment or the employer has issued a Worker
    Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) or
    other notice that the facility or enterprise will
    close, or
  • is currently on active military duty and has been
    provided with a firm date of separation from
    military service.

  • If in the immediate 7 days prior to
    partici-pation a dislocated worker had interim
    employment with an employer other than the lay
    off employer, the labor status of this individual
    is Employed.
  • Consequence This persons record is excluded

  • Received Workforce Information Services
  • Select Yes if the individual received
    workforce infor-mation services which includes,
    but is not limited to, providing information on
    state and local labor market conditions
    industries, occupations and character-istics of
    the workforce area business identified skills
    needs employer wage and benefit trends short-
    and long-term industry and occupational
    projections worker supply and demand and job
    vacancies survey results. Workforce information
    also includes local employment dynamics
    information such as workforce availability
    business turnover rates job creation job
    destruction new hire rates, worker residency,
    commuting pattern information and the
    identification of high growth and high demand
    industries.

  • Rescinded Returned Reservist
  • Added Reservist Called to Active Duty
  • There is subtle distinction. With Returned
    Reservist the customer is on planned extended
    leave, returns home and decides to no longer
    participate in WIA.
  • With Reservist Called to Active Duty the
    customer is immediately exited from the program
    without going into planned extended leave.

    member that precludes entry into unsubsidized
