Why Texas Scholars?
  • Todays rising11th grade students (Class of 2005)
    must pass a much more rigorous TAKS exit-test in
    order to graduate. Students taking the RHSP will
    be in a better position to master the test than
    those taking the minimum program.
  • 85 of all new jobs require education beyond a
    high school diploma . . . The minimum graduation
    plan does not prepare students for success in
    higher education or the work force.
