Multiple Rings of Security

• The first ring begins as soon as a person has
  purchased a ticket. Instantly, his or her name
  and passport are checked against computer lists
  of terrorists, and the name is sent to Interpol
  and Israeli intelligence.

• Armed security guards create the second ring.
  They are positioned along the route to the
  airport, and they also inspect cars at the gate
  to the airport.
