9User point-of-view
- All equipments will use lower power (car
battery). - User connect GASIU to laptop and to antenna.
- Launch tracking software. Initialize position
and begin tracking user selected satellite (data
given by NASA). - Software go through self diagnostic (send/receive
test data frame to satellite). - Pop green GUI bubble on client laptop.

- Computer (preferably a laptop or something
portable) - 9600 bps modem (custom firmware on existing
circuits, customized modem on FPGA) - UHF/VHF Radio (off the shelf components)
- YAGI antenna
- Motor and controlling circuit for antenna base
(X,Y,Z axis) - Power supply to power all components except for
the computer. Car battery? UPS unit?

- User interface for sending/receiving data.
- Satellite tracking software (use NASA J-track
database). - Motor control and self diagnostic utilities.
- Server software (http, ftp, etc.)

- Inexperience with satellite communication.
- Example Whether we can send data and receive our
sent data before satellite go below the horizon. - Response time of tracking system for acceptable
tracking error margins. - Noises (circuit, atmospherics, etc).
