Questions?

• Is the Oregon Association of Nurseries Directory
  and Buyers Guide a useful tool in measuring
  changes in availability?
• What does the change in number of growers listed
  and how can we verify what it means?

Approaches

• First, we tried to capture changes in plant
  availability among industry leaders in the
  Directory and Buyers Guide (DBG), but found
  little variation.
• Next, we measured changes among smaller growers,
  again finding little variation.
• Finally, we counted the number of growers that
  advertised for the six key plants, this time
  finding systematic changes in availability.
