The Role of NGAUS

• Educate the public on the role of the National
  Guard in national defense and homeland security
• Insure that the Guard has the resources it needs
  through an aggressive lobbying effort
• Maintain a library and museum to establish an
  archive for the National Guard
• Work with State Associations to encourage
  membership in NGAUS and coordinate federal
  initiatives

The Role of INGOA

• Promote and support the National Guard of the
  State of Iowa in furtherance of its mission, both
  Federal and State
• Foster and improve the status and relationship of
  the National Guard of the State of Iowa with
  governmental agencies at all levels within the
  State and the general public
• Promote and work with the NGAUS in its programs
  and activities with the intent to improve the
  readiness and capabilities of the Army and Air
  National Guard as a component of the Armed Forces
  of the United States

Unit Rebates

• Units (Battalions, Squadrons or separate units)
  that are 100 membership by 28 Feb will receive a
  rebate by INGOA
• Standard rebate is 5 of dues paid
• Exceptions
• If a unit is less than 10 officers rebate will
  fall under the O6 headquarters
• If 5 is less than 50 but unit has more than 10
  officers then rebate will be 50
• If 5 is between 50 and 100 and unit has more
  than 10 officers then rebate will be 100
