  • Students have copies of both the guidelines and
    basic rubric in their binders they will receive
    specifics about the months project the first
    week of each month.

Homework Expectations
  • Nightly work should take your child about 50
    minutes. This includes
  • At least 20 minutes of reading
  • Approximately 10 minutes to study spelling
  • About 20 minutes for an additional task
  • Book reports and larger projects are extra and
    can take more time.
  • Fourth grade is a year where your child should
    take more responsibility for their work and
    organization.

volunteer opportunities. I will be in touch with
you regarding your interests and will put
together monthly volunteer calendars. Also,
please sign up for a goal setting conference in
November. Conference dates this fall are November
13 and 14. These sheets are in the back. In
addition, please make sure to give me your e-mail
address.
