- reduce CO2 emissions (and thus fuel consumption)
by 50 per passenger-km in the long term - reduce NOx emissions by 80 in the landing and
take-off cycle with respect to ICAO standard and
to an Emissions Index of NOx of 5 (10) gr. per
kg. of fuel burnt in cruise in the long (short)
term, and other gaseous emissions and
particulates - reduce noise by 4-5 dB (10 dB) per operation in
the short (long) term. For rotorcraft reduce
noise footprint area by 50 and external noise by
6 (10) dB in the short (long) term. - reduce environmental impact of aircraft and
