  • enhance the role of human capital
  • test new marketing/awareness raising mechanisms
    and initiatives
  • implement co-operation outside Europe exploiting
    the possibilities
  • offered by the global market

  • General
  • Regulation (EC) No 2321/2002 of the European
    Parliament and of
  • the Council of 16 December 2002
  • According to Article 5 2
  • .the minimum number of participants established
    by the work programmes cannot be less than three
    independent legal entities established in three
    different Member States or Associated States. Of
    these 3 legal entities, at least two have to
    proceed from a Member State or an Associated
    Candidate Country.

  • Third Countries
  • Article 6 3
  • Any legal entity established in a third
    country. may take part in RTD activities .
    if such participation is provided for under an
    RTD activity or if it is necessary for carrying
    out the indirect action.
  • A legal entity established in a third country
    may receive a Community financial contribution if
    provision is made for this under an RTD activity
    or if it is essential for carrying out the
    indirect action.
