In the Fall of 2006, TROY Universitys eCampus
began servicing more students than any other
site, region or campus in the TROY family and
beginning the Fall of 2007 semester will become
the single consolidated source for distance
learning offered University-wide.

- University College oversees the Universitys more
than 60 sites in 16 states outside of Alabama,
and internationally in 12 foreign countries and
the U.S. territory of Guam, across 13 time zones,
as well as the eCampus. Through University
College, TROY has a more than 50-year history of
dedication to non-traditional students. - The eArmyU program has been an excellent
partnership for Troy University. Troy University
is the second-largest provider of online course
delivery through eArmyU.

delivery - Also included in eCampus are the Troy e-mail
system, the toll free Information Call Center,
online chat assistance, informative Web pages,
adaptive needs services, online student
orientation, expanded financial aid services, a
writing center, online tutoring services and
experienced faculty and staff.

- SecureExam Remote Proctor
- An added thrust to eCampus is the SecureExam
Remote Proctor, a technology co-developed by
TROY distance learning educators and Software
Secure, Inc. The aim is to provide an additional
level of security for online test takers,
further ensuring academic integrity for the
eCampus programs. - Prototype Features
- Securexam Browser permits access only to test
administered in Blackboard (blocks everything
else) - Access to test requires finger-scan
authentication - Captures real-time video and audio during the
testVideo component designed to display view of
entire room - Designed to have system detect suspicious
behaviorlimiting need for constant monitoring - Video has motion detection filter limiting the
amount of video fed back for review - Security settings can be easily set by instructor

VTC capabilities - Reworked our Graduate website and in the process

our server space and better serve our faculty - Beginning to purge the BB system of old courses,
